What can I do in Dasà?
We offer a variety of traditional cooking classes and experiences, but there's even more for visitors to explore! Some notable examples include beautiful hikes with incredible views, the ruins of a Norman castle, a local museum, street markets selling fresh produce and cafés which serve Italian coffee, gelato and world-class pastries!
How can I get to Dasà?
Dasà is within easy driving distance of Lamezia Terme Airport & Train Station, and it's also easily accessible from the nearby beach destination of Tropea. If you're staying or arriving nearby and don't have a car, just let us know and we can arrange for private transportation to and from Dasà.
Where can I stay?
While Dasà doesn't have any hotels, we have partnered with a local Bed & Breakfast which offers very comfortable rooms in a beautiful "agriturismo" building. With modern amenities in a charming farmhouse-style setting, it's the perfect place to stay and enjoy what Dasà has to offer. If you're interested in more than a day trip, just let us know when you book and we can help arrange accommodations!
Where can I eat?
There are essentially no restaurants in Dasà (because every villager is the best cook in town!). Not to worry, it's impossible to go hungry here. Street markets and several small grocers can provide anything you may want to cook yourself, while the local café stocks incredible breakfast pastries and evening pizza. Plus, you have the shared family-style feasts with your hosts to look forward to!
